Share Your School-wide PBS Experiences at the 2019 National PBIS Leadership Forum!

We are inviting submissions for sharing your PBIS implementation experiences through a Poster Presentation at the October 2019 National PBIS Leadership Forum, “PBIS: Supporting Our Most Vulnerable Children & Youth.” The poster presentation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 3rd.

Poster presentations provide a fun and informal opportunity to share detailed examples of what you have done and learned implementing PBIS in your state/district and generate one-to-one discussion about how PBIS is working to create positive school cultures.  Poster presentations may address a range of topics along the School-wide PBIS continuum, illustrating universal, tier II and tier III systems, data, and practices, including outcomes, variations, experiences, and successes/challenges.

A 36” X 48” a tri-fold foam presentation board will be provided for each presentation.  Please bring material to attach to the presentation board (i.e., strategies, implementation highlights, sample data) to create your poster.  We recommend bringing handouts or other items to enhance your display.  If requested in advance, power will be available for you to run your laptop or other electronic device.  Our hope is to keep this simple, fun, and informative.

Interested poster presenters should complete the online Poster Presentation Proposal form at

Content Requirements:

  • Describe specific implementation procedures and practices used in your state/district.
  • Be sure to provide data documenting implementation and/or impact on children.
  • Include information on system features and research/literature base.
  • Plan to have at least one poster presenter available for the full two-hour session.

All poster proposals will be reviewed for fit with the forum audience and quality.  Preference will be given to posters that (a) emphasize strategies, processes, and outcomes that relate to enhancing systems level implementation of School-wide PBIS at universal, tier II and/or tier III, (b) include implementation and outcome data, and/or (c) focus on the Forum theme of supporting our most vulnerable children and youth.

Proposals received after the submission deadline will be reviewed as space permits.  Submitting poster presenter will be notified of the proposal’s acceptance status via email.

  • Proposal Submission Deadline:  May 31, 2019
  • Notification Date: June 21, 2019
