Call for Poster Presentations
Submission Deadline *extended* to August 20, 2021
We are inviting submissions from PBIS Implementers and their partners to share their research and/or best practices through an informative and engaging visual Poster Presentation at the Virtual PBIS Leadership Forum. Our Virtual Poster Session will be held from 4:45 pm to 6:00 pm Central Time on Tuesday, October 26th, 2021.
Poster presentations provide a fun and informal opportunity to share details and lessons learned on implementing PBIS in your school, district, or state and generates interactive discussion on creating positive school cultures. Poster presentations may address a range of topics along the School-wide PBIS continuum, illustrating universal/Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 systems, data and practices, including outcomes, variations, experiences, and successes/challenges.
Our Poster Session is designed to promote informal interaction such as one-on-one or small group discussions between the presenters and participants. Each virtual poster presentation will consist of three components:
Pre-recorded walkthrough of poster content
Live, one-on-one or small group discussions via Zoom
Digital posters and recorded presentations will be available to participants in our virtual platform a week before the Virtual PBIS Leadership Forum. Participants will be encouraged to begin reviewing and watching poster presentations soon after they are posted so they can plan for discussion and networking during the live session. Our live Poster Session time will allow poster presenters and participants to engage in one-on-one or small group discussions and networking via Zoom; participants may also choose to continue to browse poster presentations during this time. As in other sessions, poster presenters may utilize the chat and poll features to engage with participants before, during, and after the official Poster Presentation time. After the Poster Session concludes, the virtual poster space will remain open for ongoing review of poster content and recorded presentations through the remainder of the three-day event.
