Proposals Due May 17, 2024

We are inviting submissions from PBIS Implementers and their partners to share their research and/or best practices through an informative and engaging Poster Presentation at the October 2024 National PBIS Leadership Forum. The poster presentation will be held from 5:30 to 7:00 pm CT on Thursday, October 10th.

Poster presentations provide a fun and informal opportunity for implementers and their partners to share details and lessons learned while implementing PBIS in their agency, school, district, or state and generate interactive discussion on creating positive school cultures. Poster presentations may address a range of topics along the schoolwide PBIS continuum, illustrating Universal, Tier 2 and Tier 3 systems, data, and practices, including outcomes, variations, experiences, and successes/challenges and are designed to promote informal interaction such as one-on-one or small group discussions between the presenters and participants.

Format

A 36” X 48” black tri-fold presentation board will be provided for each presentation, along with a header preprinted with your poster number and topic categories to help participants find the posters they are interested in more easily. Please bring material to attach to the presentation board (i.e., strategies, implementation highlights, sample data) to create your poster.  We recommend bringing handouts or other items to enhance your display.  If requested in advance, power will be available for you to run your laptop or other electronic device.  Our hope is to keep this simple, fun, and informative.

Content Requirements

Submissions

All poster proposals will be reviewed for quality, as well as fit with the PBIS Leadership audience. Preference will be given to posters that (a) emphasize strategies, processes, and outcomes that relate to enhancing systems-level implementation of schoolwide PBIS at Universal, Tier 2 and/or Tier 3, (b) include implementation and outcome data, and/or (c) may be reviewed and selected based on the implementation & sustainability information provided by the applicant(s).
